Interested in the arts? Each year UIndy presents more than 100 arts-related events including a variety of vocal and instrumental musical performances, theater productions, art exhibitions, readings and lectures. The majority of the events are free to students (with your student ID) and many are free to the general public. Are athletic events more to your liking? The Athletic Department has men's and women's athletic teams in twenty one sports. NCAA Division II UIndy regular season athletic events are free to students with your student ID card. Check out the Athletic Department web site for schedules and news about the Greyhound teams. Trying to stay in shape? Check out the Ruth Lilly Fitness Center (RLFC). The fitness center offers weight machines, running track and pool all available at no charge to students. Hours vary, so check out the Athletic Department web site for current information.
Just needing to relax? The newly renovated Schwitzer Student Center may be just the place. The Student Center offers a variety of dining options: a Marketplace food court with a wide variety of food choices, a grill with traditional, Mexican and deli options and a gourmet coffee shop/snack bar for a quick pick-me-up. The spacious main floor of the Student Center is ideal for sitting and relaxing, studying or socializing with classmates. The UIndy bookstore on the main floor offers much more than just textbooks.
