Psychology is the scientific study of behavior and mental processes. Psychology students learn about themselves at the same time that they learn about other people. They explore the many reasons why human beings think, feel, and act the way they do. Opportunities exist for students to involve themselves in faculty research, to conduct an independent study, or to engage in self-guided study of many interesting areas in psychology. Extracurricular activities include the Psychology Club as well an active chapter of Psi Chi.
